Lifeboat class : All-weather Tamar
RNLI's latest class of lifeboat. It is the RNLI's most sophisticated all

boat functions to six LCD screens situated at the Helm, Coxswain, Nav 1, Nav 2,
Mechanics and upper steering position (USP). The crew can access radar, for
example, from any of these seats. We will add a page related to SIMS soon.
The Tamar carries a Y boat under the aft deck which is launched by hydraulically lowering the transom .
